Posted below are the detailed minutes from the Rosemont Fundraising Society (RFS) meeting held on September 28, 2016.
During the RFS meeting there was a brainstorming session for alternate fundraisers. Posted below are the fundraising ideas.
Why are we fundraising? Because the funds raised from non-casino sources, that are not earmarked for the playground, exceed the amount budgeted in the Unrestricted budget. Although there is a surplus in the account, the plan was to allocate some or all of the surplus to an enhanced Math/Science program.
At the RFS meeting, a draft document was circulated for guidelines on how to request funds for emergency and non-emergency funding. At the next Rosemont Fundraising Society meeting, on Wednesday, October 19, there will be a discussion about the draft document posted below.
A question was raised about the minutes from the May 18, 2016 meeting. A clarification was asked regarding the number of years of life the current playground has and the vote tally for suspending work on the playground. It was requested to add the statement from Dan that another group of parents are welcome to form a new playground committee. Here are the revised minutes for the May 18th meeting.
