Rosemont School Council and Fundraising Society Meeting - Wednesday, October 24

All parents are welcome to attend the Rosemont School Council (RSC) and Fundraising Society (RFS) meeting on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. The meetings are held in the Rosemont School library. The Parent Council will meet first at 6:30PM, followed by the Fundraising Society at 7:30 PM.

Ms. Bobenic will be giving the Principal update at the School Council meeting this evening and will be discussing the:

• Halloween at Rosemont School
• Provincial Achievement Test (PAT) results from the 2017/2018 school year 
• Draft School Development Plan
• Season of Giving event in December

Photo Day volunteers needed!

We are needing some assistance on Thursday, October 18th for photo day.  We need 2 parents for the morning (9:10am - 12:15pm) and 2 for after lunch (1:05pm - 3:50pm) to assist with the kids, and tidy up. Please click on the sign up genius link below to volunteer:

Halloween Party - Saturday, October 27

The annual Halloween Party is an amazing collaborative event put on by the Rosemont Community Association and Rosemont Fundraising Society to celebrate the spookiest time of the year! The famous Haunted House organized by the Community will be a highlight again this year! As well, there will a child friendly dance complete with a DJ, yummy snacks and, finishing off the evening, a super spooky game of outdoor Zombie Tag. For the adults in the crowd, there will be an outdoor fire pit and a cash bar...being mindful that you are still responsible for monitoring your own children!

Due to fire code limitations, only people who RSVP to this free event will be allowed in. Just a reminder this is a parented event, so no drop offs please. Thank you!

Here are some important dates to take note of for the month of October:

• October 9 - Subway and Booster Juice Fun Lunch (orders due by October 4th).
• October 24 - Rosemont School Council & Fundraising Society meeting (6:30-8:30 pm).
• October 27 - Halloween Party at the Rosemont Community Cente (5:30-9:00 pm).
• October 15 to 19 - Lego Drive. More details to follow about donating your used Lego.
